120.4 mln ton of graphite ore, 15.1 mln ton of graphite. «Dalgraphite» confirmed reserves of Soyuznoye deposit
The company «Dalgraphite» completed exploration work at Soyuznoye deposit of graphite in Jewish Autonomous Region of Russia. The State Commission on Reserves of Russian Federation confirmed reserves of graphite ore on the licensed site in the volume of 120.4 mln tons and reserves of graphite in the volume of 15.1 mln tons. Thereby Soyuznoye deposit of graphite is reckoned to be among the three biggest and most high-grade deposits of crystalline graphite in the world.
In addition to exploration work «Dalgraphite» team completed prospecting work and confirmed stable quality of ordinary grades of graphite produced from the ore of Soyuznoye deposit. Simultaneously the team continues R&D of high-tech graphite grades, in particular spherical graphite for lithium-ion batteries. The first results confirmed possibility of production of spherical graphite on the basis of the ore from this deposit.
«Dalgraphite» is planning to build at the deposit an open-pit mine, flotation and processing plant, power plant and logistics facility at railway station Ungun. Commissioning of processing plant is scheduled for 2019. The total cost of the project amounts to 5,6 bln rubles. Approximately 650 mln rubles have been already invested.
The project of Soyuznoye deposit is aimed at provision of domestic consumers of graphite with raw material as well as at foster development of high-tech graphite consumers in Russia.
«Dalgraphite» is an innovative Russian company specializing in mining of graphite ore, production of graphite and products on its basis. The company has been developing Topolikhinski site of Soyuznoye deposit since 2011.
